One man has been arrested and two others injured after a car struck a number of people outside Belfast City Cemetery.

The PSNI said the condition of the two injured men is not known at present.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said three people were taken from the scene to hospital.

The incident happened on the Whiterock Road, in the west of the city, at about 12:00 BST, just after a funeral had concluded in the cemetery.

“People were standing around in shock, people are stunned,” he said.

“They’re bewildered something like this could happen, just literally after the funeral had been completed. It’s unbelievable.”
